Goal

A goal is an object of your ambition; it is your desired result — an overall outcome of your effort, which is personal and specific.

You may want to focus on lifetime happiness, a successful learning journey, self-worth, abundant health, prosperous life, or other goals.

In my case, one of my future goals is to harvest a fruitful outcome from my hobby and skills.

Hobby

Essentially, a hobby is an activity done during leisure time for pleasure — a sweet release of dopamine somewhere in the brain that makes you happy.

As for me, one of my hobbies is reading. Reading a book gives me that happiness, especially those that I find extraordinary!

Job

I took English Literature major at University. During all of those years studying English Language and Literature, one of my dreams was to pursue writing.

Since then, I have never stopped writing. Even when I got a teaching job, I kept writing for my blog or doing it for someone else’s websites.

Now, I’m happy to say that I’m doing Content marketing/copywriting and I’m eager to dig deeper into it!

The Intersection

An intersection is basically a point at which two or more things intersect and my dad believes that my hobby and job can merge and become a rewarding occupation.

He says I should combine my ability in writing with today’s technology because he knows that these days people get money from putting themselves or their works on the internet.

So that quickly becomes one of my goals for the future! To achieve it, I need to make a plan. Perhaps, I should start by taking a class or actively watching Youtube videos on Copywriting/Content marketing!

Thinking about it, I’m a bit scared. Then I remember this,

translation: “Honestly, this reminds me of your quote”

“Don’t be scared, be excited instead!” — Me.

I made this quote when I got so nervous performing my speech. Yes, I used to join a lot of speech competitions. They were extremely challenging but also fun!

So instead of feeling scared, I’m excited about the future! Lastly, I present you this quote,

“Goals are the fuel in the furnace of achievement.” — Brian Tracy

Let’s all strive for the best! What are your goals for the future? Tell me in the comment!
